Hello, we went to the Exotic Pet Refuge today,
and I was immediately struck my how desperately
they need funding.
This is Doris she is a Hornbill formerly of London Zoo,
however she suffered a hamstring injury and past to the
Exotic Pet Refuge where she is now in retirement, Luckily as Doris is pretty chilled out in her old age
she doesn't require that much space, however there are
many birds and animals at the site that desperately
need more space, or new enclosures.
The Exotic Pet Refuge is volunteer run and has no funding
to continue to look after animals that would have been
put down they desperately need donations
